Dear Whiz Kid.

I have a brother that is always doing something wrong.  He is always in trouble.  Today I broke a flower pot my mother thought was very special because my grandmother made it right before she died.  When my mother got home, she thought my brother did it.  She gave him a spanking and grounded him even though he said he did not do it.  I am too scared to say anything.  What would you do?

Signed,

Scared

 Dear Whiz Kid.

My Aunt gave me a good luck charm.  It is from Hawaii and made out of real Tikki wood.  The Hawaiian natives believe Tikki wood has magical powers.  I am going to keep it with me all the time.  I am not going to pray to it or anything.  But it cannot hurt to have it just in case.  What do you think of my plan?

Signed,

Just in Case

 Dear Whiz Kid,

My soccer team made it to the finals.  My coach says we need to practice even more if we want to win.  Sunday morning from 10 to 12 is the only time left open to practice on the soccer fields.  It will only be for 3 Sundays.  I know I am supposed to go to church.  God will understand, won't He?

Signed,

Team Player
