Solomon

King David was my father.  2 Samuel 12:24.

I became king of Israel after my father.  1 Kings 1:28-30.

Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anointed me king.  1 Kings 1:43-45.

My father told me to walk in the ways of the Lord, keeping his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements.  1 Kings 2:1-3.

When God said, "ask for whatever you want me to give you," I asked him to give me wisdom and knowledge.  2 Chronicles 1:7-10.

 I began to build the temple of the Lord in the fourth year of my reign over Israel.  It took seven years to finish building the temple.  1 Kings 6:1, 38.

It took me thirteen years to build my palace.  1 Kings 7:1.

I was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth.  1 Kings 10:23.

I disobeyed the Lord God of Israel when I followed other gods.  1 Kings 11:10.

Because I followed other gods, the Lord God of Israel said he would take all except one tribe from the kingdom of my descendants.  1 Kings 11:11-13.

I was king of Israel for forty years.  1 Kings 11:42.
